H. J. Holtz & Son

H. J. Holtz & Son is a long-established business specializing in interior and exterior painting, wall papering and wall and floor graphics applications. They are known as a trusted source for these services and they continue to learn new techniques to match the challenges they come across.

Conversely, the office space at H. J. Holtz & Son suffered from old, outdated decor and equipment. An updated office space was needed to match how they operate as a business now.

Renovation Phases:
Dominion Construction Partners (DCP) was brought on as the general contractor. The renovation was conducted in two phases. The first was the demolition and renovation of the existing office space. Phase two was the demolition of the adjoining shop area then renovation into an expanded office space.

DCP worked with the designers to help expand the space and create a more efficient office layout. A modern design was created which included a complete refresh of all furnishings and equipment. A bay door was converted into a new store front entryway which also allows more natural light into the space.

The renovation included upgrades to the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. The new office space was also brought into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and new emergency egresses were created.

Completed Renovation:
The outcome is an office space with a new, modern design that includes an optimized interior layout, new supply and equipment storage rooms, new break room, new meeting rooms, new offices and a new studio for communal working.
