The Daily At GreenGate
Dominion Construction Partners has been partnering with Richmond Restaurant Group since 2008, helping create memorable restaurants that drive repeat business.
After building out the Carytown location for The Daily — the popular restaurant known for being health conscious, environmentally friendly and socially responsible — Dominion Construction Partners was asked to bring the same “Carytown Vibe” to a second location in the Far West End.
That location is GreenGate, a new “Live/Work/Play” community just west of Short Pump on Broad Street. The Daily sits at the entrance to this new walkable community, and helps set the tone for the entire experience. The outdoor dining area and stylish interior bring urban chic to this suburban setting.
Project Highlights
- Extending the brand to a second location. The client wanted to make sure this second location continued the strong brand identity of their Carytown location. Dominion Construction Partners built out the first location, and was able to seamlessly translate that experience to the new location.
- Urban vibe in a suburban setting. The Daily is known for its hip style, featuring industrial accents and striking tree branch sculptures. The new location’s distinctive patio area, dramatic uplighting, and sculptural trees create an instant, recognizable sense of community in this new neighborhood.
- 6,000 square foot shell. Dominion Construction Partners partnered with Markel, the GreenGate developer, taking over when the space was just a shell. Our build-out completely transformed the space, creating the authentic, relaxed atmosphere so important to the client.
